tor&co has worked for many years with Chewton Glen. Idyllically located on the edge of the New Forest, this independent, award-winning hotel and spa has consistently been at the forefront of UK tourism and hospitality.

Together with the owners, our planning, architecture and landscape experts worked to deliver an estate-wide master plan, sensitively extending the hotel accommodation and adding new facilities to expand the hotel’s appeal.

Taking inspiration from the forest, our architecture team designed seven luxury treehouses. The organic shape and form and innovative structure gives the impression that the suites ‘float’ above the forest floor. Set within a highly sensitive part of the site and designed to have minimal impact on the woodland setting, the Treehouse Suites blend into their environment, providing both serenity and luxury. They are now a much sought-after hotel experience.

The Kitchen is an entirely new facility, a purpose-built space where guests and visitors can learn about food and enjoy cooking. Budding chefs take part in courses while the informal dining hall offers visitors the chance to observe professional chefs at work before they sample the delicious dishes.

The hotel goes from strength to strength, contributing to the local economy and welcoming visitors from far and wide. tor&co look forward to continuing to support its development.
